The Role

We're hiring a Part-Time Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for a fully remote growth marketing agency that consistently hires across growth strategy, program management, engineering, and design. You'll be the person hiring managers rely on to move open roles forward, candidates remember as the reason they joined Cro Metrics, and leadership trusts to give them a clear, honest picture of what's happening in the funnel.

You'll work directly with hiring managers from intake through verbal offer — writing and refining job descriptions, designing interview processes, sourcing active and passive candidates, and coaching hiring managers through calibration and debriefs. You'll also help shape the tools and process behind our recruiting function: optimizing our Greenhouse configuration, integrating AI across sourcing and screening, and establishing the monthly recruiting metrics report we share with leadership.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, People & Culture and sits within a small, hands-on People & Culture team. It's a part-time position (20–30 hours per week) designed for an experienced recruiter who wants to do high-impact, full-cycle work without a 40-hour commitment.

What You'll Do

Own the hiring lifecycle end to end

  • Partner with hiring managers on intake, role definition, and job description writing.
  • Post and distribute roles across LinkedIn, niche job boards, and Greenhouse syndication.
  • Design interview loops, scorecards, and competency-based questions.
  • Train and calibrate hiring managers on interview structure, bias mitigation, and debrief facilitation.
  • Source and screen active and passive candidates, with heavy use of AI-assisted sourcing, screening, and scheduling tools.
  • Run weekly touch-base calls with each hiring manager and provide daily updates to keep candidates moving.
  • Conduct reference checks prior to verbal offer.
  • Provide compensation benchmarking input using market data and recommend offer ranges.
  • Own first-point-of-contact relationships with external recruiting agencies (approvals roll up to the Senior Manager, People & Culture).
  • Hand off to our People Operations Specialist for formal offer, paperwork, and onboarding.

Build pipelines and own candidate experience

  • Build and maintain active passive candidate pipelines for our highest-leverage roles, including Growth Strategy and Program Management.
  • Own candidate experience end to end — keep candidates warm through long cycles, deliver timely and respectful rejections, and close feedback loops.
  • Conduct compelling outreach that gets candidates excited and invested in working at Cro Metrics.

Drive process, tools, and reporting

  • Continually optimize our Greenhouse configuration and overall recruiting workflows.
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate AI tools across sourcing, screening, scheduling, and analytics.
  • Establish and own a monthly recruiting metrics report to leadership — including funnel performance, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pass-through rates.
  • Support Cro Metrics' recruiting expansion into our dynamic talent model build-out as that program scales.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
  • Proven ability to own a search end to end — intake, sourcing, screening, hiring manager partnership, offer recommendations, and closing.
  • Strong active and passive sourcing skills, including hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other outbound techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (or comparable ATS) and a willingness to own and improve its configuration.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted recruiting tools and an interest in identifying and adopting new ones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
  • Experience designing interview processes and coaching hiring managers on interview craft.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and self-directed — comfortable working autonomously within a small People & Culture team.
  • Available for 20–30 hours per week, with at least 4 hours per day during EST or CST business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Agency, consulting, or professional services recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for senior strategy, growth marketing, and engineering roles.
  • Experience supporting international hiring. 
  • A track record of building or improving recruiting reporting and dashboards in Greenhouse.
  • Familiarity with AI sourcing and outreach tools.

Compensation: $30.00–$40.00 per hour
